In the past 13 and 14 of November, InteGrid was present in the EUW, held in Paris, The European Utility Week is the leading event illustrating expert knowledge, innovative solutions and foresight from hundreds of industry leaders, coherent with European strategy to achieve a smooth transition towards a low carbon energy supply. InteGrid project was a participant in the EU Funded Projects Zone Hub Sessions Programme and also at the INESC TEC Hub.

In the past 13 and 14 of May, InteGrid has been represented in the Innogrid2020+ conference, held in Brussels and co-organised by both EDSO and ENTSO-E.

On December 2018, Cristophe Gutschi, Senior Project Manager of cyberGrid, an InteGrid project partner gave an interview about the “Challenges of the Power Industry in Europe”.

Last 15th and 16th November a GDPR - General Data Protection Regulation workshop organized by SAP, a project partner, took place in Lisbon at EDP Headquarters, attended by around 30 participants from InteGrid Consortium.

Project partner cyberGRID distributed a communication showcasing InteGrid as a visionary project to demonstrate scalable and replicable solutions in an integrated environment so that DSOs can plan and operate the network with a large share of distributed renewable resources (DRES) in a stable, secure and economic way.

The SEST conference, organized by the Universidad de Sevilla, will bring the opportunity to discuss several challenges of smart energy systems design and operation, with a focus on the advanced methods and practices for designing different components and their integration within the grid.

The event "From Intelligent Energy Solutions to disruptive business models" was held on June 27 at EDP headquarters, in Lisbon. Portugal, Sweden and Slovenia are at the epicenter of the European project H2020 InteGrid, coordinated by EDP Distribuição. This project aims to increase intelligence in electricity grids in Europe by 2020.

Two members of InteGrid's consortium, KTH and Ellevio, with the help of The City of Stockholm, organised a stakeholder consultation workshop in Stockholm on the 14th of May, attended by 18 participants. The goal was to understand the energy habits of the different stakeholders that will take part in the project.

This year’s edition, on the 15th and 16th of May, focused on the next decade’s challenges for the power grids and to provide insights and solutions through innovative projects, demonstrators and pilots, entitled “Get ready for the twenties, a vision for Europe's power grid and beyond”.

In the scope of InteGrid Project Implementation Plan, NEW R&D -leader of this task-, organized with its partner EDP Distribuição- Portuguese DSO, a two-day workshop, which took place on February 27 and 28 in Lisbon, Portugal.
