This year’s edition, on the 15th and 16th of May, focused on the next decade’s challenges for the power grids and to provide insights and solutions through innovative projects, demonstrators and pilots, entitled “Get ready for the twenties, a vision for Europe's power grid and beyond”.
João Torres, CEO EDP Distribuição & Vice-chairman of EDSO for Smart Grid opened the first day session: ‘Opening innovation for the Twenties and Beyond’. On the panel ‘Customers in the focus’, Project Coordinator, Pedro Godinho Matos presented InteGrid solutions under development, which allow demonstrating how DSOs may enable the different stakeholders to have an active role in the energy market and to develop new business models, making use of new data management and consumer involvement approaches.
