In the past 13 and 14 of May, InteGrid has been represented in the Innogrid2020+ conference, held in Brussels and co-organised by both EDSO and ENTSO-E.
The event, under the theme “Connecting physics and digits: Power Platforms on the rise” has brought together around 400 representatives, among DSOs, TSOs, market players, regulators, academia and others.
The project was represented at the event in two different moments: in a panel named “Active Customer, Active System Management”, Luís Cunha (chair of InteGrid’s General Assembly) has made a presentation of a recently released joint report from EDSO, ENTSO-E, Eurelectric, CEDEC, Geode, which establishes a common framework for TSO-DSO cooperation in congestion management and balancing. Ricardo André, the project coordinator, has also participated in a panel debate on “Sector coupling and storage”, where he made a project presentation. The focus of his presentation was around the Grid-market Hub, as the DSO platform that actively promote the grid active participation in flexibility mechanisms, thus enabling the implementation of part of the measures foreseen in the joint report mentioned above.
