InteGrid was presented in the Bridge Coordination Group meeting in Brussels, last 18th and 19th January. The event was participated by more than 50 people, among project coordinators and representatives from the European Commission.
Bridge is an initiative from the European Commission, which gathers Horizon 2020 projects in the field of Smart Grid and Energy Storage. Its goal is to create a structured view of issues of non-technological nature encountered in the demonstration projects which may constitute an obstacle to innovation.
The BRIDGE process fosters continuous knowledge sharing amongst projects, thus allowing to deliver in a single voice, conclusions and recommendations about the future exploitation of the project results, according to four different areas, divided in the following four working groups:
InteGrid consortium was represented in the meeting by EDP Distribuição, the coordinator, who presented the vision of the project, along with the project plan and expected results.
Considering the importance and the significant contribution that InteGrid is going to have on the four areas mentioned, the consortium has assigned representatives for these working groups. EDP Distribuição, INESC TEC, KTH and Comillas will then bring to the discussions and recommendations of the initiative, the results obtained during the course of the project.
