The first day was filled by an open discussion, which took place in the auditorium of the EDP building at Av. José Malhoa, Lisbon, with several partners involved in the implementation of each of the use cases that will be demonstrated in Portugal. Previously identified topics were addressed bridging the gap of comprehension. A visit to DSO’s Dispatch Center, in Lisbon concluded the day.
A visit to the village of Valverde, in Évora district, took place in the second day focusing in energy storage systems (MV and LV) connected to the grid, as well as equipment present in some local residences, namely the battery kit, inverter, photovoltaic generation and Home Energy Management System (HEMS).
An environment of co-operation and determination was constant during the workshop, resulting in agreements between various partners and important clarifications for successful implementation and subsequently demonstration of the various use cases.
